CHERISE,
Now that it is safe for me to use home e-mail, I had to say thank you once again for all that you did for my renewal ceremony. Meg was so surprised, and I think she secretly took pleasure in the envy of the women in town when she told the story. The husbands of course were pissed at me.
Everything was so wonderful. I don't remember the guitarist's name (Evan), but he sang and played beautifully. Meg used to sing in a band and a close friend of ours still plays guitar, so we know talent when we hear it.
What can I say about Pia? Such beautiful words & sentiments, and quite simply, what a nice man. He was most impressive, and we consider ourselves fortunate to have met him.
Finally, I know what a demanding pain in the ass I can be if things don't go the way I want them. The ceremony went even better than I had hoped, and I have you to thank for that. I am fortunate to have met you most of all. Meg and I will never forget that evening, and for that I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

The look on Diane's face is precious when the Doves were released. John called last night and said he was mailing the photos to us.
