Restaurant Next to Ocean Hosting Wedding

Gather Wailea

Gather, formerly knows as Gannon’s restaurant on the golf course in Wailea has several lovely options for a private wedding and reception. The Molokini lookout is beautiful large lawn on the upper Wailea golf course – perfect for a large wedding ceremony or for those just wanting extra privacy. For smaller weddings, the Lower Wedding Knoll is a nice fit with beautiful ocean views along the country club drive entrance. Follow with dinner at Gather in one of the the semi-private dining options by the upper pond or the Lower Lawn for a mid-sized group of up to 60 with dancing to a private buyout of the restaurant’s renovated main dining room for a larger group. Beautiful views from all areas and excellent staff and food make this a great choice for a perfect event.

Merriman's Kapalua

Located in Kapalua overlooking the beautiful Kapalua Bay is one of Maui’s premiere restaurants, Merriman’s Kapalua. Offering a large oceanfront deck or more intimate side lawn for wedding ceremonies, followed by dinner in the private dining cabana, private dining room or a complete buyout for the most amazing event. Daytime luncheon wedding buyout also available. The food, staff and service here nearly surpass the views which are astounding.

Plantation House Restaurant

Located in Kapalua, on the world class Kapalua Plantation Golf Course, is a great little country club style restaurant with beautiful golf course fronting lawns for weddings and multiple reception options. The Lower Lawn wedding site is just below the restaurant and perfect for a group of up to 75 for ceremony and cocktails. The Molokai Lawn is a short stroll from the restaurant and can accomodate up to 1000 for wedding and reception. Both have dramatic panoramic ocean and mountain and sunset views. The main dining room has open air ambiance with lovely views in all directions. From a complete restaurant buyout to semi-private areas, there are so many options with the Plantation House Restaurant. There is also a small private dining room, the Grille Room, for a private reception or a post-dinner dancing and partying room for non-exclusive events.

Pacific'o

This wonderful oceanfront restaurant is located at 505 Front Street in Lahaina – offering year round sunny weather and delicious food and service. At Pacific’O you can get married on the beach followed by a semi private or private reception or buyout the restaurant or just the lanai and have your ceremony on the small grassy area in front of the restaurant followed by a private dinner event. Views of Lanai and Lahaina Harbor and spectacular sunsets are what you get at Pacific’o.

Five Palms on Keawakapu Beach

The Five Palms Restaurant has a cute little oceanfront lawn available in front of the restaurant, which is located at the Mana Kai resort. Being at a resort and restaurant this is not as private as some other options, but you can’t beat the price (free – just a small labor fee to move the lounge chairs) and convenience of moving right into your wedding reception either in the dining room or on the open air patio at Five Palms. You must book your reception dinner at the Five Palms in order to utilize the lawn for your ceremony. The dining room offers a semi-private or private buyout option. Gorgeous views, good food and reasonable pricing are highlights of this location.
