It is with great joy that we are assembled together in the presence of God in the beauty of tropical paradise to unite (BRIDE) and (GROOM) in marriage. This is indeed a special MOMENT IN THEIR LIVES and they are indeed grateful for your presence here as family and friends.
The Bible teaches that marriage is a permanent relationship of two people freely and totally committed to each other as companions for life.
Our Lord declared that a man shall leave his father and mother and unite with his wife in the building of a home, and the TWO SHALL BECOME ONE FLESH. THUS, IT IS FITTING TO ASK…
It has been said that it is not good for men and women to be alone. Thus it’s fitting that I ask.
Who Gives THIS BRIDE to be MARRIED? BRIDE’S MOM: I DO.
¿Quién da a su novia para que se case?

PERSONALIZED SECTION ABOUT THE COUPLE AND THEIR JOURNEY TO THIS DAY (example)
It has been a real privilege getting to know… I agree with the sentiment of your friends and loved ones: we are genuinely happy for you.
This all started 3 years. in Highschool, started at a baseball game. We started talking that day, after that we were inseparable. Developed an inseparable friendship!
3. Some of our most memorable dates include getting sushi for our first date. Going to Nashville and Kentucky as our first vacation alone together and going back to restaurant we had our first date at to talk about really staying together and committing to each other.
4. The first couple months of our relationship were very difficult. We had a difficult time communicating and really did not know anything about each other. We finally figured everything out once we actually opened up to one another. Then not long after Julian unexpectedly joined the marines and moved to San Diego. At the time we both though Julian would be gone for a long time. So it didn’t really make much since to stay together. But without really having any idea or reasoning why we decided to stay together. Shortly after an amazing blessed accrued. Julian was not able to continue his training for Marines and was in San Diego for only a month. Once Julian got home we both knew why we decided to stay together. We knew with all our hearts that we were meant to be together in the life no matter what. We truly knew we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together as husband as wife only 6 months after our first encounter even though the rocky start.
(BRIDE) – I love everything about him, I think he’s beautiful and I love how passionate he is about everything.
(GROOM) – (BRIDE) is the most loving and selfless person i have ever met. I admire her positive attitude and outlook in all aspects of life. She is beyond beautiful inside and out. Reese truly is the most incredible finance best friend, and support.
(BRIDE) – Beautiful, meant to be
(GROOM) – Soul mates
7. We decided on our wedding date before (GROOM) proposed. After we picked the date we realized we needed to start planning as soon as possible. We aren’t rushing the proposal just because were getting married.
Echo sentiment of friends and family I have met. . .we are happy for you!
Privilege getting to know you both long distance. . . 31 years of marriage… many things go into making a great marriage OF COMMUNICATION, w CONFLICT RESOLUTION, PLANNING FINANCES. . .BUT THE MOST IMPORATANT THING IS PUTTING GOD FIRST! RAIN WILL FALL… THE WISE MAN WILL BUILD HIS HOUSE ON THE SOLID ROCK IT WILL STAND FIRM! The storms will come to those who build their house on the sand, and on the rock!
Forgiveness: it’s like buying real estate in California… When you find a fault, don’t dwell on it!
Your home is to be built on the greatest of His virtues: LOVE. In order to grasp it’s full meaning we turn to the most exquisite poem ever composed describing LOVE. We discover this gem in I Cor. 13:4-13 in the God’s Holy Scriptures. Pay special attention to the 15 characteristics or qualities of love as I read this passage USE THEM AS A CHECK LIST TO SEE IF YOU TRULY LOVE EACH OTHER: It States:
LOVE is patient, LOVE is kind. It does not envy, neither does it not boast, nor is it proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, nor does it keep a record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always a. LOVE NEVER FAILS. And now these three remain: FAITH, HOPE AND LOVE. But the greatest of these is LOVE.
When you say you love each other this is what you are saying! Marriage is a permanent relationship ordained by God:
TRIANGLE: God needs to be first in this relationship!
Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
W International Version
Two are better than one,
because they have a good return for their labor:
10 If either of them falls down,
one can help the other up.
But pity anyone who falls
and has no one to help them up.
11 Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm.
But how can one keep warm alone?
12 Though one may be overpowered,
two can defend themselves.
A cord of THREE strands is not quickly broken..
The commitments you make to one another a reflected in the vows will uphold your marriage through the inevitable ups and downs we of life.

PERSONAL VOWS IN PRIVATE
Minister to Groom: (GROOM), in taking this woman whom you hold by the hand, do you promise to love and cherish her, honor and keep her, in sickness as in health, in poverty as in wealth, for better or for worse, and to be faithful to (BRIDE) so long as you both shall live?
Groom: I do.
Minister to Bride: (BRIDE) , in taking this man whom you hold by the hand, do you promise to love and cherish him, to honor and keep him, in sickness and in health, in poverty as in wealth, for better or for worse, and to be faithful to (GROOM) so long as you both shall live?
Bride: I do
Minister: MAY I HAVE THE RINGS.
I believe there are 4 main reasons that we wear wedding rings:
1. Outward expression and symbol reminding you of the vows you made to
one another this day.
2. Unending circle of the ring your love is never ending, and like the
precious metal of the ring your love too is precious, never to be tarnished.
3. They tell people, “Back off, he’s mine!” And lastly, but most importantly,
4. Theologian Beyonce once said…”If you like it, then you better put a ring on it.”
Minister (holding one of the rings up for all in the congregation to see):
The ring is a symbol of the love you have for each other. Its unending circle represents love’s eternal quality, and the gold speaks of the purity of real love. It will be a ceaseless reminder of this day. As a seal of the vows you take, you will now give and receive rings.
Ben to (GROOM): Repeat after me and to (BRIDE) : “I give you this ring// as a visible Symbol// of my faithfulness// and loving devotion//
Ben to (BRIDE) : Repeat after me and to (GROOM): “I give you this ring// as a visible/symbol/ of my faithfulness// and loving devotion//
SHARING OF LEIS
For those of us who call Hawaii our home, the flower lei are a symbol of love. It is also a symbol of things that are fragile and temporary. A Flower lei will last a day or two and then it is gone. Our lives are like the lei within the span of eternity; therefore, live with tender consideration for each other, continue to love one another and your marriage will last. May the leis you now offer each other, be s for the love that you have for one another.
Placing of the Lei:
(GROOM), do you wish for Bride to be known as your wife? If so, please say, “I do.”
(BRIDE) , do you wish for Groom to be as your husband? If so, please say, “I do.”
